Crash Course on UI/UX Design Fundamentals
Good user interface design is not just about having the prettiest design of them all. Good designs are all about consistencies, ease of use, and how it helps in achieving your business's and your users' goals.
We will be covering important topics on creating a great user interface for a better user experience. Based on best practices in the industry, we will focus on the basics of design process mastery, visual hierarchy, designing user behaviors, responsive design, navigation and control design, tips and tricks in onboarding, and also visual style.
This crash course is suitable for developers, aspiring designers who are new to UI/UX design, project owners, or the curious ones.
This course will be split into 2 sessions: User Interface and User Experience that are good enough to apply on both web and mobile design.
For user interface session, we will start with the basics of visual design principals, content pattern, visual hierarchy and organisations, typography, UI elements and patterns, functional layout design and more.
For user experience session, we will talk about personalisations, microinteractions, user research, product research and implementations.

ABOUT THE TRAINER
Koekoe Loo is a seasoned illustrator and UI/UX designer.
She loves to do fun stuff so she co-created fun projects and specialises in vibrant, cute illustrations, flat UI and iconography. Her notable design works include Lootpop, PlayRally, Kitty Relief, and Catmoji.
